1982 - Marketing Industrial S.A. (MAINSA) began operations in Guadalajara, Mexico by manufacturing fastware locomotive items. e.g. wear plates, gaskets, seals and gearboxes for traction motors.
1990 - MAINSA is recognized in North America as a reliable supplier and is involved in the marketing of spare parts for locomotives.
1993 - Calder Design and Manufacturing Company is established in Houston, TX, USA with the purpose of marketing to and fro spare parts for freight cars and railway, generally within the North American market (Canada, Mexico, USA).
1995 - MAINSA enters the plastic injection molding industry. Manufacturing wear plates for the rail industry. Including industrial buckets, boxes for the food industry and other industries.
2000 - UTC Calder, S.A. de C.V. is created by the joint venture of UTC at Morton, PA and Mainsa to re-condition wheelsets and bearings with AAR (Association of American Railroads) certification.
2001 - AAR M1003 certification
2008 - The Calder Rail Group becomes a Registered Trademark.
2009 - CalderUTC Rail S.A. de C.V. is created to consolidate the services to the railway industry.
2017 - Installation of injection machines for 450, 750 and 1200 Tns.
ISO 9001 - 2015 certification focused on being providers for the automotive industry begins.
